Where? Bottom of Gibbet street/Pellon Lane was the 'Grand Junction', behind that was 'The Queen' and the other side of Dungeon Street stood The Fleece.

The Foundry Inn was situated on Foundry Street, off Northgate, Halifax, West Yorkshire. (there was an iron foundry opposite in the same street.) I think it was demolished along with the street, just after the last war, although it had closed as a pub, in the early 1900’s. My great grandmother rented it after closure and sub let it to family members, my mother was born there and remembers it well, she recalls it had the only W.C. (with water) in the street.
